Coco Gauff’s emotional reaction to Zac Efron’s support

After defeating Magdalena Fręch in the 4th round of the tournament, Gauff has shown her capacity to go further to reach her Grand Slam goal on the tennis court. And after achieving the amazing victory, she received special support from the 36-year-old American actor, which was quite unexpected for the 19-year-old herself.

Recently, Zac Efron took to his Instagram account to share a video of Gauff from her post-match interview after the 4th round victory. Along with that, he wrote, “you’re the best @cocogauff, rooting for you!” 

Sharing the same video over her Instagram stories, the American tennis sensation reacted to the supported message with a one-word expression. She wrote, “ahhhh,” followed by a red heart emoji and a crying face, displaying how it was quite emotional for her to receive support from such a popular actor. After the US Open victory, all eyes were on her, wondering whether she could do great in other Grand Slam too.

During the post-match conference, after an interview, she said, “It’s for like only the person and then I saw the screen and I was like ok makes sense so really really really thanks for coming to my match.” 

Along with that, she also highlighted how she is quite lucky to have him in the audience cheering up for her, as she is nervous, but the whole audience, because of his presence, kept a positive flow going.
