It may be too early to say if Serena Williams’ three-year-old munchkin Alexis Olympia has a future in tennis, but she sure seems to have found herself in the best coaching hands already.

The 23-time Grand Slam champion recently shared an adorable video of her daughter trying her hands at tennis under the watchful eyes of Serena’s coach, Patrick Mouratoglou.

The cute footage of little Olympia holding a racquet bigger than herself and hitting thin air in her attempts to emulate her mother’s groundstrokes racked up tons of likes including likes from former stars Daniela Hantuchova and Carla Suarez Navarro and even supermodel Gigi Hadid.

In the video, which was possibly shot by Serena herself, ‘The Coach’, as Mouratoglou is nicknamed, is seen giving throwdowns to Olympia asking her to connect.

The three-year-old, who has already made it a habit of watching her mother from the sidelines at practice and from the stands during matches, makes three attempts at hitting the ball.

While Olympia falls short on her first and third tries, she does manage to connect in her second attempt, but it is a weak shot that goes where it wasn’t intended.

However, it was all in good fun of course as ‘The Coach’ is seen beaming even as he goads the little star to go for it.

Mouratoglou also left a cheeky comment to Serena’s post, saying, “I am working on the next generation of players (wink emoji).” Hadid, too, left a comment to the post, saying, “My favorite athlete.” Hantuchova simply responded with a heart emoji.

In a recent chat with American talk show host Stephen Colbert, the 39-year-old Serena revealed that she personally isn’t willing to push her daughter into tennis but will be her biggest cheerleader if Olympia does decide to follow in her mother’s footsteps.

“If that (playing tennis) was something she wanted to do, I would absolutely be like, ‘Oh my god, she should totally do that,” the American said. She said her daughter was a perfectionist on court, though she’s not sure “where she got that from.”
