The American sports comedy-drama television series, Ted Lasso has gained massive popularity among the audience especially after it got the Primetime Emmy Award. Eugenie Bouchard, who only recently began watching the show, was likewise drawn to it. While focusing on her performances on the court, the Canadian somehow makes time to watch her favorite web series.

Surprisingly it is a show centered around the sport of soccer that has apparently intrigued the 28-year-old tennis player. Talking about it, Bouchard recently took to her social media to express her amusement. Here’s what the WTA star has to say about the American show.

Ted Lasso has got various Primetime Emmy Awards nominations and awards after it caught the attention of a lot of fans around the globe. Since then, many have added the show to their watchlist on the renowned streaming platform, Apple TV+.

The sports comedy-drama depicts the journey of an American football coach who is given the role to coach and manage a struggling soccer team in London,  AFC Richmond. The protagonist, Ted Lasso being played by Jason Sudeikis, however, lacks the skills and knowledge about the utterly disparate game.

The popular soccer show has also caught the attention of the Canadian beauty, Eugenie Bouchard. Notably, the 28-year-old tennis player recently took to her Instagram to share her excitement over the American sports web series.

She added a caption, “Finallyyyyy starting Ted Lasso!!!” while she also shared a snapshot of the show.

The popular documentary series on Netflix, ‘Harry and Meghan,’ became a contentious point for a lot of fans around the globe. Even the Canadian tennis star falls into that category as she previously took to her social media to talk about the controversial show. She also shared a video clip of Princess Eugenie which she filmed from the documentary series while watching it.

Bouchard was in awe as she took note of another ‘Eugenie’ in the British Royal family.  She further asked the fans to give their reactions and reviews of the “controversial documentary”. In order to do so, Bouchard put up a “poll” on her social media to gauge the audience’s sentiments toward the Netflix series.
