She said- “I believe in destiny. Yes, I do. Yeah, like you say, but you know, I try to don’t let another things affect me, even it’s destiny. You know when everything’s working well, I believe in destiny. But if the destiny doesn’t go on my side, I don’t believe that at all. So only depends where destiny goes. Yeah,”

Qinwen’s comments helped fans to understand that while she is happy to achieve her icon’s feat, she doesn’t rely too much on fate. Instead, this tennis star tries to motivate herself and perform well even if destiny doesn’t work accordingly.

Qinwen always spoke about Li Na’s contribution to her aspirations of becoming a successful tennis player. She once said- “Yeah, she’s the first one in Asia who win French Open, the first Grand Slam. It’s like she gave me a little dream feeling the heart that while the Asia people also can do something really good in tennis. Because the first one is always special. And especially in that moment I was really young. So, yeah, she gave me the dream to put that I can do something big in tennis,”
