Tennis players are able to earn a great sum from their exploits on and off the court. Many manage to turn that money into investments and therefore greater sums. Many who collect such a huge sum often start charitable donations and ventures. Aryna Sabalenka is someone who often shares her money for charitable ventures. She recently opened up about how another Belarusian player inspired her to do so.

The Belarusian veteran is someone who has inspired many of her countrypeople to pick up the racket and play the sport. Sabalenka was no different but found herself being inspired by more than tennis.

Victoria Azarenka is a player who has become a role model for many around the world. She has become an admirable figure for many Belarusians, inspiring Aryna Sabalenka to play better when she was in her early teens. Just like her, Saba has two Australian Open titles in her bag. However, Azarenka has inspired her to be more than just a better player. She has motivated the 25-year-old to serve as a role model herself.

In a presser for the Dubai Tennis Championships, she said, “Actually, that’s inspiring me right now to hear this kind of stuff. I know how hard it is to fix some things in life, in tennis. It’s amazing knowing that, like, by fixing your stuff, you kind of helping others. That’s a dream. I’m happy to be an example. I’m happy to talk. I’m happy to help. That’s amazing (smiling).”

So fully deserved.” Of course, receiving her well wishes is quite important.

Many others congratulated Saba for her win, but Azarenka’s wishing stood out for her more than anyone else’s. Both Belarusian beauties have managed to wreak havoc in the tennis world. They will continue to do so as long as they continue to play on the WTA Tour.
