Does Sabalenka's playful attitude make her more relatable and likable to fans?

Aryna Sabalenka is on cloud 9 at the moment. She is enjoying one of the best phases of her tennis career and won her maiden US Open title earlier this month. Further, a crucial ingredient to her success has been the support staff that she has been working with, especially decorated coach, Jason Stacy. The two joined hands together back in July 2018 and it has only been upwards for Sabalenka since then. Amid the intense schedule, the two can definitely afford to have some hilarious moments together in a largely successful season. One such moment occurred earlier today.

Sabalenka, along with Stacy, has traveled to Beijing where she’s playing in the WTA 1000 China Open. The top seed is through to the round of 16 after a comfortable straight-set win over Ashlyn Krueger. Subsequently, when she was about to leave the stadium after her match, Stacy accompanied her but couldn’t resist showing off his childish antics.

Aryna Sabalenka captured the moment and shared it on her Instagram story. In the clip posted on her official Instagram handle, Stacy could be seen carrying a soft toy in his bag. The toy was large enough to pop out of his bag and Sabalenka couldn’t stop laughing while capturing the moment. Additionally, she took a hilarious dig at Stacy as she captioned the video, “Hi, my name is Jason and I’m 50.” It was indeed a ‘new day, new gift’ for Stacy. But it wasn’t the first time Stacy produced such a hilarious moment.
