Could Aryna Sabalenka's camera charisma lead her to a modeling career beyond tennis?

Belarusian star Aryna Sabalenka has one more talent other than tennis. Remember how she channeled her ultimate diva on the cover of Vogue earlier in January? Not to mention, her bubbly personality in front of the media that keeps bringing the spotlight to her. Recently Sabalenka’s friend Ons Jabeur complimented the WTA number one for one of her great skills. Following this compliment, blushing Sabalenka responded with an intriguing story clearing the air about her love for posing for the camera. So, what was her answer?

Sabalenka made an interesting revelation about her camera friendliness.  The Belarusian player defeated Jasmine Paolini in the second group stage match in Riyadh. She will play against Elena Rybakina in the third match today. Before the match, Sabalenka attended the press conference and heard an interesting compliment that her friend Ons Jabeur offered her. One journalist asked her, “I was talking to Ons the other night about her fashion work and I asked her about her poses, and she said ‘oh no I am not Aryna I don’t have the poses.’ But because you really do seem to have an awareness of where every camera is in the room, were you like that as a little kid?” To respond to this question, the WTA star revealed some childhood facts that surprised the audience.

At first, the Belarusian expressed her happiness about the compliment by looking at the camera and waving her hands in the air posing. “I see you guys,” she said at first. After that, she went on to narrate about her home videos. “I don’t know my mom had a lot of videos of me when I was kid. Actually, I would love to go back , not like go by but go through all them. Because it’s probably fun watching me doing crazy stuff,” she said. However, Sabalenka didn’t stop there. She expressed her love for looking at herself from a different perspective.

She drops the example of how focused and aggressive they look on the court without bothering about their look. So the camera might offer them that chance to feel their beauty.  “Nothing changed same and different but I don’t know always liked some cool shootings, to do to pose in front of camera. I don’t know why I just love to see myself from a different view. Because on the court we’re always sweaty, look aggressive, Just don’t care about the way we are looking and when you get ready for some sort of shooting you look beautiful and then you think of yourself and say okay we don’t look that bad, actually can look good,” said Sabalenka.

This is not the first time, the Belarusian talked about her love for clicking photos. After successfully defending her title in Melbourne this season, Sabalenka landed on the digital cover of Vogue Magazine. At that moment, she revealed similar thoughts about posing in front of the camera.
