The curtain is finally closing on the US Open, and as the tennis season’s Grand Slam whirlwind comes to an end, players can finally take a well-deserved breather. But no one seems to be soaking in the victory quite like Aryna Sabalenka! The WTA star is on cloud nine after lifting her very first US Open title, and what better way to celebrate than with a sizzling appearance in Brooklyn?

The fashionwear brand Off White, founded by late Virgil Abloh, brought the fashion enthusiasts to Brooklyn on Sunday for their spring 2025 show. Staged on a Brooklyn basketball court, designer Ib Kamara’s collection for the 2025 Spring was inspired by his trip to Ghana, which is also the home country of the late founder of the brand. As the fashion crowd headed towards the event, tennis players could not stay aside either. 

Among those who joined was the WTA star Sabalenka who was seen in a gorgeous black outfit. She posed with the English singer Zayn Mallik who also paid a visit to the event. In a video shared by Vogue, Sabalenka could be heard expressing her happiness as she made a visit to the event. She also flaunted a new phone case that she likely brought from the event itself. But the Belarusian was not the only tennis player to be a part of the fashion event. 

From the ATP side, Frances Tiafoe also joined the show garnering immense attention from the fans. But for Sabalenka, the event was even more special and enjoyable as it came just after she defeated the American star Jessica Pegula in straight sets 7-5, 7-5 at the US Open final.

Sabalenka’s love for fashion is not something new. After winning her first title at the Australian Open, she posed with her trophy in a pink blouse and skirt by Zimmerman, an acclaimed Australian luxury fashion label. She also matched her attire with a pair of royal blue Manolo Blahnik Hangisi pumps, as part of the tournament’s annual tradition.

Last year, Sabalenka decided to keep her US Open heartbreak aside, after losing the finals to Coco Gauff, and posed in a three-piece blazer set in a New York City photoshoot. But besides dresses, Sabalenka is also mesmerized by another aspect of fashion and its photoshoots.

Aryna Sabalenka has continued to rise in the tennis arena with her impeccable performance. With such fame and growth, comes the attention of the paparazzi and Sabalenka’s scenario is no different. But interestingly, the tennis star loves doing photoshoots. She herself opened up about it this year. 

After winning the second consecutive title at the Australian Open, Sabalenka hurried up to appear in front of the press the following day. She said, “I actually love doing photoshoots,” as she was seen zipped into a second-skin Zimmermann skirt. She was in a bit of self-doubt as well, by her own admission. “Right now, with the professionals, I feel like I’m doing a terrible job,” she joked. “I think I need to do some classes and learn some stuff about how to pose.”

After winning the US Open title, Sabalenka is truly enjoying her time away from the courts. It will be interesting to see what else she engages herself with to celebrate the grand victory that she secured at the Flushing Meadows.
