The Russian tennis beauty has often been spotted on her business trips to Paris owing to her endeavors with various wellness and beauty brands. While juggling many hats, the 5 singles Grand Slam champion has somehow managed to focus on her parental duties. Maria Sharapova was asked about the same during her appearance at The Glossy Podcast show.
Many fans would have thought the former tennis ace must be finding it hectic to adjust to her parental schedule. Proving them wrong, Sharapova said that she loves it as she always had this ambition to be a mother. She then described her feelings about being a first-time mother.
Sharapova said, “You don’t know that feeling until you really have your own child and it’s still so hard to describe it. It’s almost like there’s another piece of your heart that’s like out of your body.”

The former tennis player has managed to balance her travel and business plans. While detailing her schedule, the 35-year-old tennis legend stated that it’s healthy as long as she set her priorities right. She added, “And it’s there’s definitely guilt about leaving and there’s an extra thought on am I really leaving for the right reason. Which is actually incredibly important.”
Now that she is a mother, Sharapova revealed that she has to be very cautious about her travel schedule. She said, “I didn’t know that I was missing that in my life like to really reflect on where I was going what plane I was getting on. Is there value in that because there’s something really important at home.”
