Nick Bollettieri, who shaped amazing tennis players, including Serena Williams and Andre Agassi, passed away at the age of 91. The famous American tennis coach has trained Serena and Venus Williams and helped both amazing tennis players to create a name in the sport. However, the 91-year-old American coach believed the credit behind the Williams’ sister’s success goes to their parents, Richard Williams and Oracene Price.

The famous American tennis coach pinned the concept of having tennis boarding schools. It helped develop many leading tennis players from the past generation, including Monica Seles, Andre Agassi, and Jim Courier.
When Nick Bollettieri praised father Richard for raising his daughters
The legendary tennis sisters’ duo were a part of Nick Bollettieri Tennis Academy. They also have been closely trained by their father, King Richard. However, there was a time when the tennis coach talked about their parents’ role in shaping their future. And additionally, making them focus on their goals of becoming one of the greatest tennis players to grow in the sport.

He said, “I applaud your mom and dad, how they’ve let both you and your sister be yourselves.” And added that “I believe that’s one reason why you’re able to play tennis well and do other things well. I only wish all the parents in the world could be like your mom and dad were to both you and your sister.”

The tennis coach gave an amazing tribute to ‘King Richard’ and his wife. And even wished that all the parents in the world could be like them. They have helped their children grow and succeed in a positive way. He even added that the biggest reason behind their successful tennis career is their parents.
Richard Williams raised his daughters with a different mindset
Richard Williams, the father of the legendary tennis duo Venus and Serena Williams, taught them some unusual lessons. The American tennis coach made his girls fairly brazen and confident. He focused on their education and having fun as kids while also teaching them a lot about their African-American past.
