Recently, the former British number one was supposed to play a charity match with Naomi Osaka as a part of the first Grand Slam Tournament itself. But the match was canceled, as Raducanu withdrew her name from the event because of a health problem. While her chances of participating at the Australian Open are in the headlines, a BBC commentator in a recent podcast talked about her promising tennis future.

She said, “This is Raducanu’s best shot at a reset of alleviating all pressure internally and as much as she can externally as well. Everything when she broke through initially happened so quickly arguably too quickly and then the expectations were far too heightened after she won the US Open Trophy.”

Along with that, she also focused on how the US Open champion knows what she wants in the sporting arena. Further, Abigail Johnson focused on how the summer in Australia can be the right time for her to climb the ladder that she has been wanting while carrying the correct potential and ability with her.
