But the match was canceled, as Raducanu withdrew her name from the event because of a health problem. While her chances of participating at the Australian Open are in the headlines, a BBC commentator in a recent podcast talked about her promising tennis future.

She said, “This is Raducanu’s best shot at a reset of alleviating all pressure internally and as much as she can externally as well. Everything when she broke through initially happened so quickly arguably too quickly and then the expectations were far too heightened after she won the US Open Trophy.”

Along with that, she also focused on how the US Open champion knows what she wants in the sporting arena. Further, Abigail Johnson focused on how the summer in Australia can be the right time for her to climb the ladder that she has been wanting while carrying the correct potential and ability with her.

She added, “So, I know that you know Emma has high expectations of herself, then knows that she has a level in her and I would not be writing her off from doing something big again in the sport in the future.” Nevertheless, just a few weeks before her comeback, the former 10th-ranked tennis player was quite confident about getting back on the tennis court.

A few weeks ago, Emma Raducanu made a striking admission regarding her current mental state and how she’s ready to handle tennis even after being away from the sport for such a long time. In a candid interview, she stated, “Yeah I feel reborn in a way, I feel fresh, I feel ready, I feel happy. I feel excited. So, overall, I’m feeling very positive and lighter.”
In addition, she also highlighted how, after the US Open victory in 2021, there was a lot of weight on her shoulders, but now it’s like getting an opportunity to perfectly restart her tennis career. Moreover, tennis fans are eagerly waiting to see the 21-year-old rule the court and shine once again after a year-long break.
