American WTA Player Turned Controversial Playboy Model Once Unveiled a Rare Photo Featuring Venus Williams and Maria Sharapova: ‘I Look So Short’

Former American tennis star Ashley Harkleroad retired from tennis in 2012 and currently works as a PlayBoy and OnlyFans model. The 37-year-old is popular on social media and also follows tennis regularly. During her playing career, the American rose to her career-best rank of 39 in June 2003.

The period she used to play marked a few of the greatest tennis stars of the 21st century, like Serena Williams, Venus Williams, and Maria Sharapova. Once, the former tennis star shared an old picture that brought back some amazing memories.

Former tennis player turned model took to her Instagram account to share an old picture from her playing days. In the picture, we can also see Venus Williams and Maria Sharapova.

Recalling the old days, Harkleroad wrote, “Two things, I look so short and omg there are the Bondarenko sisters!! If you know who they are you are a die-hard tennis fan!”

The picture brought back memories from the time when Serena, Venus, and Sharapova were in their prime and entertained the world with their brilliant performances.

Venus is still an active tennis player while Serena retired from tennis recently after this year’s US Open. Sharapova also retired back in 2020.

When Serena Williams dominated Maria Sharapova

Serena Williams vs Maria Sharapova is one of the most talked about rivalries in tennis. Russian tennis star Maria Sharapova was among the best of her generation. The former world number 1 has five Grand Slam titles to her name, with at least one title each at all four Grand Slam events.

With all that success and prowess, she still couldn’t consistently get the better of Serena Williams. The American was a different beast while playing against Sharapova. If we look at the records, it shows sheer dominance from the 40-year-old. The two played 22 matches against each other, in which Serena won 20 matches.

The last match between these two was a first-round encounter at the US Open 2019. Serena romped the match 6-1,6-1. Although Sharapova is great on her own, Serena dominated her throughout her career. This speaks volumes about Serena’s greatness.
