Who did Zheng prefer to face in the Australian Open final?

After her semifinal encounter against Yastremska, Zheng was asked if she would prefer to play Sabalenka or Gauff in the final. Her semifinal took place before the match between Sabalenka and Gauff, which the former won. However, Zheng had a firm answer about her choices.

She said, “You can’t think so far. I cannot even think about tomorrow is going to happen. I only can focus right now in this moment. I don’t have a preference. I don’t care who I’m gonna play against. Doesn’t matter. And I just gonna play my tennis.”
