Halloween is just around the corner, and everyone around is busy with their preparation for this classic festival, including the American rising star, Coco Gauff. Gauff is regarded as one of the sport’s brightest young stars. She made the headlines for the first time by defeating Venus Williams, a seven-time Grand Slam champion, in the first round of Wimbledon 2019.

The 18-year-old has remained a top performer ever since. Earlier this year, she competed in the final of the French Open in both singles and women’s doubles. And now it looks like she’s preoccupied with all sorts of Halloween activities, like donning a unique Halloween costume.
Coco Gauff poses in a unique Halloween outfit
Earlier, Coco Gauff took to Instagram to share an amusing Halloween outfit that is inspired by the popular animated series, Avatar – The Last Airbender. She was dressed as the character ‘Katara’ in the series. The attire was sky blue, with a crossbody bag hanging around her shoulders. Back in 2021, she dressed up as the Scarlet Witch for Halloween.?
On the tennis front, Coco Gauff has qualified for the 2022 WTA Finals for the first time following an incredible season in which she reached her first Grand Slam final in Paris and then moved into the top 5 of the WTA rankings in singles.?
The 18-year-old will compete in Fort Worth, Texas, in the WTA Finals, from October 31 to November 7, alongside World No. 1 Iga Swiatek, Ons Jabeur, and Jessica Pegula. She is also the youngest American to reach the WTA Finals in nearly three decades.

Impressive performance of Gauff in this season
Gauff, who had a difficult time gaining momentum on the hard court swing and managed only a few notable runs at the start of the season, found her groove on the clay. She advanced to the round of 16 at the Madrid Open and the Italian Open, and her form carried her all the way to the French Open final. At Roland Garros, she defeated many notable players, including Sloane Stephens and Elise Mertens.

The current world no.4 advanced to the finals without dropping a set. However, she lost against Iga Swiatek, the incumbent world no.1. Following that, she advanced to the semifinals at the Berlin grass court tournament and the quarterfinals of the Canadian Masters and the US Open.
