The Australian Open is scheduled to take place from January 14 to January 28. This event will mark the comeback stage for many superstars of the game. Sloane Stephens‘ best performance at AO was in 2013 when she reached the semi-finals of the 118-year-old event. Stephens is currently placed at 47th place in women’s singles ranking. Good results at the start of the year would surely boost her ranking and build confidence for the rest of the season.

She gave this answer to one of her fans in a Q&A session on Instagram. Stephens unveiled, ‘Starting the year in Australia – Brisbane International, Hobart International and Australian Open.‘
Brisbane International is set to take place from December 31 to January 7. The 13th edition of the event will be held at Queensland Tennis Centre in Tennyson. It marks a preparatory event among the players ahead of the mega event. Talking about preparations, there is one more to look out for. Hobart International is set to feature 14 players from the Top 50 WTA rankings. Can the former US Open winner make full use of these events before heading to Melbourne?

Stephens is looking ahead to break all the shackles in 2024
The 30-year-old Floridian is well known for her comebacks. She did it in 2017 by winning the US Open title after coming back from an injury. Sloane Stephens had also won the WTA Comeback Player of the Year at the time. She, however, featured in a total of 21 tournaments but only managed to win only one event. 2024 marks the calendar for some nail-biting events throughout the year, with the Summer Olympics also on the horizon.

Sloane Stephens has already confirmed her participation at the Charleston Open. This event is the largest women-only professional tournament in North America. She won it in 2016. Can she repeat the heroics that will kick start on March 30, 2024, on Daniel Island in Charleston, South Carolina?
