Take the example of the Australian Open in 2017. Before the tournament, Serena Williams found out that she will soon give birth to her first child. However, that didn’t stop the American legend from participating in the tournament. Not only did she play in that tournament but also defeated her elder sister, Venus Williams in the final to win the title. Recently, her husband, Alexis Ohanian, reminisced about his fighting spirit during his childhood days.
Williams’ husband on his love for video games
The Reddit co-founder took to Twitter to express how he always gave his best while playing video games during his childhood days. He said, “When I was a teenager, I wrote “LIVES REMAINING: 0″ on the wall of my room. It was a constant reminder that I always tended to play my best in a video game when I had zero chances left.”

Earlier this year, Ohanian made a bold prediction for the gaming industry. He said, “90% of people will not play a game unless they are being properly valued for that time.”
Further, he went on to add, “In five years, you will actually value your time properly. And instead of being harvested for advertisements, or being fleeced for dollars to buy stupid hammers you don’t actually own, you will be playing some on-chain equivalent game that will be just as fun, but you’ll actually earn value and you will be the harvester.”
