The 18-time Grand Slam singles champion Martina Navratilova recently covered the Wimbledon Championships, where she provided her expert opinion on various matches. Aside from tennis, she also talks about various other sports as well.

Most recently, she talked about the Open Championship, which took place at St. Andrews while also expressing her opinion regarding the pro golfers leaving the PGA Tour and joining the Saudi-backed LIV Golf Series. In another news, the former US President Donald Trump called out the PGA Tour, as he backed the LIV Golf Series. It prompted a reaction from Navratilova, as he took a dig at Trump for his show of support to the newly formed pro golfing series.

Earlier, the former Czech-American player took to Twitter and wrote, When in doubt, trump ALWAYS FOLLOWS THE MONEY.

In a recent interview, Trump said, “All of those golfers that remain “loyal” to the very disloyal PGA, in all of its different forms, will pay a big price when the inevitable MERGER with LIV comes… If you don’t take the money now, you will get nothing after the merger takes place.”

Earlier, Navratilova used her social media platform, particularly Twitter, to criticize Trump and his supporters. Notably, she reacted positively after Joe Biden beat Trump to become the President of the United States of America.

Navratilova criticized a few professional golfers for preferring the LIV Golf series

When the Saudi revolution first began regarding the LIV Golf series, Phil Mickelson was one of the very first players to leave the PGA Tour in favor of the Saudi-backed golf tour. At that time, Navratilova expressed her displeasure as well.

After Mickelson, many players followed the same suit as they joined LIV Golf. American golfers Dustin Johnson and Bryson DeChambeau were among those players who joined the LIV Golf. During the recent Open Championship, Johnson and DeChambeau finished in 6th and 8th position, respectively.

Although they had a decent outing at the Major event, Navratilova decided to take a different route and took a dig at both of those players for their stance on the LIV Tour. On the other hand, the former tennis player showed genuine support for Tiger Woods, as he vehemently supported the PGA Tour.
