This time, it’s Olympia’s academic skills that have him beaming with pride, as the 7-year-old seems to be acing her way through math problems. But it’s not just Olympia’s natural talent at work here—Ohanian has found a clever way to keep her engaged with numbers, using fun techniques that make learning a breeze.

The 41-year-old took to his Instagram on October 12 to share a unique way he used to intrigue Olympia to solve mathematical problems. He used an AI tool to create questions that revolved around the favorite entities of his daughter and wrote, “I used AI to create Math Problems based on JR’s Favorite Things.” While many would have wondered what the outcome of the exercise was, the Reddit co-founder has an answer. 

Sharing an update about the same on his Instagram story on Monday, October 14, Ohanian highlighted his success. In the story, a solved question paper can be seen with two highlighted questions. Olympia seems to have answered both questions correctly, thereby showing her academic prowess. Ohanian indeed was proud of not just his unique approach but also his daughter’s result.

Remember, the question paper earlier reflected the names of some prominent personalities, including Taylor Swift, Beyonce, and Simone Biles? There have been several instances when Olympia’s love for these personalities has come to light, which justifies the addition of these entities in the question paper. In an interview with podcast host and editor Kara Swisher at the INBOUND event, Olympia’s mother, Serena Williams, revealed her daughter’s admiration for Taylor Swift. “My daughter just turned 7. She’s not into princesses; she’s into Taylor Swift,” Williams said. Similar sentiments about Simone Biles were reflected by Ohanian earlier.

The ‘Business Dad’ once revealed how inspired Olympia was when she witnessed Simone Biles in action as she performed a chilling new floor routine. “Jr. sees this and starts tumbling over the sofa. Love to see it,” Ohanian wrote as he shared a video clip of the player on his social media. For Ohanian, AI is a major turning point for tech, which he believes to be unparalleled. It is probably for this reason that he is using it effectively in even creating questions for his daughter, which adds more to his unique parenting style.

Alexis Ohanian has often revealed how grateful he is to be the father of two daughters. He considers this one of the biggest achievements of his life and has depicted immense love for his family. Be it going with Olympia to her favorite eatery or spending time in leisure at home, Ohanian has been setting dad goals for quite some time now, all thanks to his perspective on parenting. 

Engaging in an interview with businessman Bobby Kim for his ‘Business Dad’ podcast in July, Ohanian opened up about his parenting style. “I generally think about gentle-ish parenting the way I like to parent. I do generally like the idea of talking to my kids instead of talking down to them,” he said. He also shared how fatherhood helped him learn new perspectives on life and evolve as a human. 

“The relationship has layers to it, which has been really fun. But for a six-year-old, I’m just starting to unpeel the human and really learn all the different feelings and desires and hopes and fears. And it’s awesome.” As Ohanian and Williams have continued to set examples for many parents out there, it would be interesting to see what next lies in store for their daughters. Will Olympia face more such unique assignments in the future? Well, only time will tell.
