Disney has officially established Marvel as one of the greatest franchises in the entertainment industry. Marvel currently holds the largest fan following of any movie series or TV show, and some of its fans are heavily invested in its projects. Alexis Ohanian, the husband of Serena Williams, is one such fan. The entrepreneur is an outspoken personality and he recently showed his excitement regarding a Marvel update on his Twitter page.

Marvel recently announced a movie about the character Daredevil. The prior series on Netflix ended abruptly after three seasons. But then Marvel has picked it up for another season. The show will see many beloved characters from Netflix’s Marvel series returning which has Ohanian shrieking with joy.

Punisher’s return has Serena Williams’ husband happy

Disney is producing another show for Marvel. ‘Daredevil: Born Again’ is currently in works and equally important is the return of the mercenary on the screen. However, Alexis Ohanian is excited about another aspect of the show altogether. The Hollywood Reporter recently announced that Punisher, aka Frank Castle, will be returning.

The Punisher is played by Jon Bernthal and he was a recurring character in the first Daredevil series. Disney has made sure that Ohanian will be eager to watch the show just by renewing it. Moreover announcing Punisher’s return put it at the top of his list. While he was highly excited, Ohanian kept his reply simple and straightforward. “YES YES YES” was the comment of the Reddit co-founder.

This is not the only instance in which Alexis Ohanian went full nerd mode for Marvel. The Reddit co-founder and his wife, Serena Williams, are both huge fans of anything Marvel. Additionally, the two have attended many Marvel movie premieres together and separately. Their latest appearance was of Williams at the new Ant Man and Wasp movie.

The power couple has shown their excitement over Marvel media quite often. The two will most likely end up making Olympia Ohanian as big of a fan as them.
