Japanese tennis star Naomi Osaka is among the smartest investors among the current lot of tennis players. Even after having a below-average year on the court, the 25-year-old has strengthened her earning options. One of her smartest moves was to start her own talent management agency. Osaka’s agency Evolve has already signed one of the top male tennis players, Nick Kyrgios.

Recently another big name in professional tennis also signed up with Evolve.

Ons Jabeur signs up with Evolve agency

Naomi Osaka’s Evolve has added another top-level athlete to their list. It is world number two, Ons Jabeur. While they already have Wimbledon 2022 finalist Nick Kyrgios and Osaka herself on the list. Jabeur had an amazing season last year. She performed consistently and was the finalist of Grand Slam events on two occasions.

She made it to the Wimbledon final and later reached the US Open final as well. However, the Tunisian was unable to cross the final hurdle. As Jabeur signed up with Evolve, its official Instagram account came up with a welcome post for the world number two.

In a short span of time, Osaka has translated her tennis success into a successful business opportunity. While her net worth keeps growing, her dipping form is a matter of concern. What’s more concerning is her absence from the tour for over four months.

Naomi Osaka is likely to miss the Australian Open

After a disappointing 2022 season, Osaka has not shown up for the Australian Open yet. While her name is there on the entrant list, the four-time Grand Slam champion is still in America. The 25-year-old last played in the Japan Open, where she opted out midway due to an injury.

Ever since Osaka has not taken to the court. The Japanese was on a trip to France with her rapper boyfriend Cordae. Recently, she returned to the US. However, the 25-year-old has not yet revealed her plans for the first Grand Slam of the year.
