One thing we know for sure about Serena Williams’ husband, Alexis Ohanian, is his dedication and determination to things he loves. The Reddit co-founder has several successful entrepreneurship ventures. However, nothing matters to him more than his family, which is hardly a surprise! The Business Dad, who turns into a caddy sometimes, and a chef for his daughter at other times, certainly knows how to appreciate his beautiful family. And when it comes to his marriage anniversary, there is no way Ohanian wouldn’t make it big for his legendary wife!

Today, the famous couple celebrates their 7th wedding anniversary. And Serena posted a beautiful message for her husband while sharing some lovely family moments. On Instagram, she wrote, “7 years has gone so fast… Happy anniversary @alexisohanian thank you for being the best dad to our girls @olympiaohanian and @adiraohanian. Thanks for also making (the) average November day a costume party and making it special. ❤️❣️”

Rightly so. Ohanian knows how to make things special. The father of two, dressed up as a ‘gladiator,’ while Adira and Williams twinned in their outfits. And not to forget, the energetic Olympia, who seemed to be a princess!

Ohanian responded to Williams’ post with words full of gratitude. He wrote, “❤️ Thank you for blessing me with the two best humans we ever met.” In the 7 years, we have seen the love flourish between them many folds. However, for Ohanian, the anniversary is not just about him and his wife. It’s also about their two precious daughters.

On his Instagram account, Ohanian came up with a heartwarming post for his beautiful family. He wrote, “7 years ago today, we got married here. Now we get to bring these two for beignets. Happy Anniversary 🎉 Thanks for giving me the two greatest humans we’ve ever met. You’re an amazing mama. I’m very lucky to have met you @serenawilliams @olympiaohanian”

Notably, the duo met in 2015 while staying at the same hotel in Rome. Williams was attending the Italian Open, while her future husband was in the city to speak at at the Festival of Media Global conference. And let us tell you their first encounter was as hilarious as it can get, with the tennis superstar even trying to scare Ohanian away…

In an appearance at The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Williams started, “I went down for breakfast. Now, meanwhile, this was during a tournament. I never eat breakfast during a tournament, because I’m always nervous. I have all these nerves and I always stay in my room. And I’m always like watching film and studying, but this time, I’m like, ‘I don’t care. I just need to get out.’ So I went downstairs, but the breakfast was closed, and so, I ended up sitting somewhere else. It was empty. Like, no one was there, so it was me and, my trainer and my coach.”

“We were all just sitting at the table, and then, this big tall guy walks in. You know, kind of frumpy and like hard. Like pounding each step,” said Williams, jokingly mimicking Ohanian’s steps with much exaggeration. “He plops down right next to us. And I’m like, ‘Who is this guy, and why are you here?’ We were being the mean team, and we kind of were trying to get him away. We told him there’s a rat, like, ‘It’s moved. Be careful! There’s a rat’. There was no rat…And now we’re married, so….I don’t know.” Well, the most adorable plot for a rom-com movie if you ask us!

Having said that, the couple’s anniversary posts clearly highlight that Ohanian is a proud father and a husband. He has supported his wife through thick and thin on and off the court. And sometimes he doesn’t shy away from call himself a ‘groupie’. In fact, he proudly flaunts it…

And that was all Ohanian needed to get hooked on the sport. Since then, he has become the owner of the Women’s soccer team, Angel City, and has launched a project Athlos for track & field athletes. Above all, Ohanian is not afraid to categorize himself as Serena Williams’ ‘groupie.’

Ohanian was recently in a conversation with the LSU basketball player, Flau’jae Johnson. The athlete inquired about the top 4 athletes on Alexis Ohanian’s list. He named Alexis Arguello, Art Monk, Sean Taylor, and, of course, his wife. He even mentioned, “I’m my wife’s biggest fan. You could even say a groupie. I’m proud of that.”

Ohanian certainly knows how to celebrate occasions and people. Him and Serena are a match made in heaven indeed!
