After Basking in King Richard’s Oscars Success, ‘Marvel Fanatic’ Serena Williams Hypes Up Black Panther 2 to Achieve Similar Glory

The American tennis legend Serena Williams recently stepped away from professional tennis. The 41-year-old retired after a 27-year-long, illustrious career. While the fans are already missing the queen of the court, she is having a great time enjoying her family life. While the busy schedule always kept her busy, after retirement, Serena got the time to watch her favorite movies.

The former world number one recently watched Black Panther Wakanda Forever. Later, she came up with a review of the film.

Serena Williams loved Black Panther: Wakanda Forever

By now, it is common knowledge that Serena Williams is a huge Marvel fan. The 41-year-old has loved it since the franchise’s comic book days and now enjoys the movie franchise. The latest release from Marvel, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, is doing good and Serena, unsurprisingly, took out some time to watch the film.

The legend absolutely loved the film and came up with an Instagram post to appreciate the cast. “I am a @marvel FANATIC. Back, starting from the comics. Black Panther @blackpanther hands down was and is the best marvel movie I have EVER seen. I cried, I cheered. I laughed. And I cried. It deserves and should win Oscar’s @im.angelabassett @badgalriri song- ties it all together. Thank you, Black Panther cast.,” she wrote.

Wakanda Forever is doing well globally. The film has got a brilliant response from both fans and critics. Serena and her husband Alexis Ohanian are huge Marvel fans. Earlier this year, the two also attended the premiere of the Marvel film, Thor-Love and Thunder. The 41-year-old was there to play her comeback match in the Wimbledon Championships 2022. Although she failed to do well in the tournament, she made full use of the time she had in London.

Serena Williams’ husband Alexis Ohanian was the first among them to watch the film. He also had a pretty similar reaction to that of Serena. While Serena posted the appreciation post later, Ohanian was the first to do it. The 39-year-old straight away updated his Instagram story as soon as he came out of the cinema hall.

The Reddit cofounder was amazed by the film and gave positive reviews straight away. Further, he said that even though the film was two hours and forty minutes long, one would never feel it. The 39-year-old seemed very excited and held himself somehow. As he said, he doesn’t want to give spoilers to the fans.
