Jessica Pegula is a late bloomer. The 29-year-old American did not reach the top of the WTA when she started out as a youngster, but she steadily rose and has achieved a career-high of 3 in singles and is currently the number 1 player in doubles. She has shown some of her best performances this season. She won her second Masters title, which has increased the faith of Rennae Stubbs, former coach of Serena Williams.
Stubbs is a big fan of the 29-year-old American player. She is outspoken about her admiration for her. Stubbs showed her love for the daughter of the Buffalo Bills owners as she tried her hand at a new sport. She is here to cheer her on once again.

Serena Williams’ former coach shares support for Jessica Pegula
As Pegula plays in the WTA Finals as the fifth seed, she is aiming to remove the blemish she had last year of no victories in the Finals. She has broken the dry spell, as she won her first round resoundingly. Watching her win against Elena Rybakina, the former coach of Serena Williams, Rennae Stubbs, became an even bigger fan of the Canadian Open champion.
She wrote about her victory on her official ‘X’ account. Stubbs said, “@JPegula gets her first singles win at the @WTA finals. She’s going to be tough to beat this year. Very different feeling for her playing in her second finals. Conditions suit her, and she’s on a win streak. Trains in Florida, used to the wind, way to go, Jess.” Now, Pegula will go on to face Aryna Sabalenka in round two and attempt to go far in the finals.

Stubbs is an avid fan of the 29-year-old American star. She has often voiced her support for Pegula and did so when the American player tried a new sport.

Stubbs admires the effort of Pegula
Jessica Pegula selected a different path from the rest of the tennis roster as they prepared for Wimbledon. The WTA star shared a number of videos and photos of herself while playing golf. She captioned the picture, “grass szn prep.” The comment section quickly filled with praise for her as the tennis world poured in to uplift her.

Rennae Stubbs was one of the many and probably the most prominent commentators in Pegula’s post. She commented on her form and wrote, “Solid mate”, to show her admiration for Pegula’s swing. The Canadian Open champion has won the favor of Stubbs. But can she hold it and go far in the final?
