Now that the movie is with the audience, the Williams household decided to take a long vacation to Bahamas. Accompanying Serena was husband Alexis Ohanian and daughter Olympia, besides sister Venus.

Serena Williams posts pictures of her vacation in Bahamas

Earlier, Venus Williams posted adorable pictures of the time spent with her niece, Olympia. Now, it was the younger sister’s turn to post a few clicks from their Bahamas vacation.

Serena was seen wearing a wet suit with fin-like flippers as before she went for a dive in the sea. The American simply captioned the post, “Vacation”.

Tennis wise, both the sisters had a disappointing season. Even though Serena made it to the semis at the Australian Open earlier this year, she failed to reciprocate the same feat in other Grand Slam events.

The injury Serena suffered during her first-round match at SW19 forced her to retire from the tournament, and subsequently, the rest of the WTA season.

Off the court, the 23-time major champion has been quite busy with numerous events to attend and also spending memorable time with daughter, Olympia. Venus, on the other hand, teamed up to mixed-doubles with Nick Kyrgios at Wimbledon.

But, the duo had to withdraw as the Australian tennis star had to retire from the tournament due to an abdominal injury. The pair played an entertaining first-round match and clinched victory in three sets.

Since SW19, Venus was part of various tournaments through wild-cards but couldn’t make a lasting impact in any of them. The legendary sisters will be looking to make a strong comeback next year, starting with the Australian Open.
