Evert reminisced about the confidence these bracelets gave her while she played on the court. She said, “When I competed, I wanted to wear something that gave me confidence and empowered me, both as a woman and an athlete.” Furthermore, she added, “My tennis bracelet added a personal element to my style on the court and served as a daily reminder that I can do and be anything.”

The designer has incorporated all the minute details of Evert’s perspective of those bracelets. She has added a hinge of various colors and gems to denote the green court and a bead of sweat to pay tribute to the legendary tennis player. Evert conveyed a message to women around the world with this initiative. She said, “My hope is that the tennis bracelets we created together become a woman’s daily armor in every facet of her life to conquer the day ahead.”
