The American tennis legend, Serena Williams, has marked many great achievements in her name, like her 23 Grand Slam titles. Throughout her glorious career, Serena has always expressed her gratitude towards her family for their constant support on her stellar tennis journey.

However, Williams once ignored her husband, Alexis Ohanian, after one of her Grand Slam victories.

The American tennis icon defeated her sister Venus Williams at the Australian Open in 2017, her 23rd and last Grand Slam title. Meanwhile, during the tournament, Williams’ friends and family were also there to support her, including Alexis Ohanian. The founder of Seven Seven Six was with the supermodel, Karlie Kloss, at the event.

When Serena Williams, carrying her Australian Open trophy, met Kloss, she stopped to give her a hug and engage in a conversation.

However, Serena, ignoring her partner, Ohanian, who was standing beside the American supermodel, became a major talking point. Additionally, the American tennis star greeted other people in the room who were there to congratulate Serena after her Australian Open triumph. It was later revealed that during the tournament, the 7-time Australian Open champion was pregnant with her daughter Olympia.

After her victory in Melbourne, Williams broke the record of 22 major wins held by the legendary German tennis player, Steffi Graf.

Throughout her Serena’s wonderful journey on the WTA Tour, the Reddit cofounder has always been there for her. Ohanian, since his first meeting with Serena, has been a constant presence in her journey on the WTA Tour.

When the American icon decided to move away from tennis after the US Open, a plethora of supporters were there in New York to watch her play for the last time. The Reddit cofounder was also there to cheer on his tennis star wife with his daughter, Olympia Ohanian. After Serena played her last match against the Australian tennis player Ajla Tomljanović, he was there to provide emotional support to visibly distraught Serena.
