Venus Williams switched to a vegan diet almost ten years ago because of an autoimmune disease. This disease, consequently, affected her performance on the court. But being a vegan for over ten years has made her proficient enough to suggest some good eating points in Los Angeles.

Being away from Olympia and Serena Williams is not Ohanian’s favorite thing to do. However, he has to hit the road to do his professional work; this time, he has come to Los Angeles.
Giving his usual updates, the Reddit co-founder shared a picture of an Armenian food chain, Zankou Chicken. Ohanian held up his favorite sandwich, filled with the nostalgia of his Armenian roots, and the bag with the rest of the other sandwiches.
And as fans raved over his choice of food, his sister-in-law had something else to suggest. Williams jotted down her favorite vegan restaurant. She stated, “Go to crossroads my fav vegan in LA!”

It seems like Ohanian has one more place to visit before he leaves LA.
Maybe Williams would have tried his favorite Zankou Chicken if she was not vegan. However, it was following her health issues the player switched to a vegan diet.

The seven-time Grand Slam champion has led a glorious career and people look up to her for her resilience. However, there was a time in her career when everything came to a halt.
In an interview with Health, she stated that there was a point where she could not play tennis at all. That is when her doctor suggested that she switch to a vegan diet. Since then, Williams has been able to lead her life in the way she wanted to.
