Looks like Coco Gauff loves pulling a prank. The 18-year-old American player is definitely one of the most amusing personalities in the tennis circuit. Recently, a video on Twitter went viral where Coco is seen hitting the court with Sofia Kenin. In an unexpected turn of events, Coco asked a ball kid to take over on her side of the court against Kenin.

While the commentators kept saying, “I wish he is bad”, the ball kid slammed Kenin on court. The embarrassing video that had mortified Kenin fans has resurfaced on Twitter and this time there are more reactions to it.

Coco Gauff fans won’t let Team Kenin let go of on this one

This video is back from July 2022 when Gauff was up against Kenin in a singles exhibition match in Atlanta. Kenin is a star player who won the Australian Open in 2020 and reached the French Open finals that same year. However, she suffered an injury after that and had to withdraw from all major tournaments.

Some fans have directly hinted at Coco being “shady” during this whole incident and how Kenin lost the match because of this humiliation.

Fans have also pointed out Kevin’s reaction after this fiasco. They feel she might have taken it a little too seriously and let it get to her.

Needless to say, Kenin fans definitely did not like this whole incident. The fact that Kevin did not ultimately go on to clinch victory in this match makes it even worse. Back in March 2020, Kenin received her career-high ranking of no. 4 in the world. Kenin also has several accolades to her name, including the 2020 WTA Player of the Year.

Coco Gauff and Sofia Kenin faced each other for the first time in 2020. It was in the fourth round of the Australian Open and Gauff faced defeat to Kenin in three sets of 6-7, 6-3, 6-0. America’s two star players have also faced each other in doubles matches in the Charleston Open and the San Diego Open. Both times, Gauff and her partner beat Kenin. Finally, when Kenin made her comeback at the Atlanta Open, Coco beat her 6-1, 6-2.
