Coco Gauff about being confused with Osaka
In the year 2020 Public released an article about how fans were not okay with the four-time Grand Slam champion Naomi Osaka posing in bikini. They explained how people thought her pictures ruined her innocent image. However, one of the pictures they used was of Coco Gauff. “I love Naomi, but you guys are using the wrong picture in this article…” Gauff pointed out.

“One of the pictures is actually me.” As a response to this, Osaka jokingly replied, “He said, close enough.” The incident caught fire soon after Gauff’s tweet. People were blown by the blunder the magazine created.
“People magazine’s editor is a British guy who happens to be extremely racist. So no surprise they did this,” one fan mentioned.
