Fans are aware of her doubles campaign with compatriot, Jessica Pegula in various tournaments. However, prior to Pegula, Gauff used to play with her close friend and compatriot, Caty McNally.

The American pair was popular among the fans but they haven’t played together in doubles events in a while. However, Gauff and McNally have finally reunited to represent their country for the Billie Jean King Cup. As they reunite to represent the United States, Gauff called her friend a “female slim shady.”

The 18-year-old American tennis star previously revealed she was not able to team up with her friend, Caty McNally, because of their different singles schedules. As a result, fans were eagerly waiting to see the exciting American pair make a comeback on the court. A plethora of fans refer to the pair of McNally and Gauff as “McCoco.”
The fans were finally able to witness the “McCoco” reunion as they teamed up for the Billie Jean King Cup. McNally, who is quite active on her social media, posted some pictures from the tournament. The American further stated that she was honored to represent her country at the Billie Jean King Cup. McNally added a caption, “No greater honor🇺🇸”

The American tennis duo performed brilliantly at the Billie Jean King Cup. Notably, Gauff and McNally, with their brilliant team performance, beat the Polish tennis duo of Magda Linette and Alicja Rosolska.

McNally and Gauff’s previous performances as a team
Prior to the Billie Jean King Cup, the American tennis duo also participated in the Miami Open. They defeated the pair of Tereza Mihalíková and Květa Peschke in the first-round match of the event. With another brilliant performance, Gauff and McNally beat the team up of Xu Yifan and Alexa Guarachi in the round of 16 of the tournament.
In a thrilling quarter-final match, the American tennis pair defeated the team of Jil Teichmann and Alizé Cornet. However, despite their solid performances in the previous rounds, McNally and Gauff were defeated by the pair of Elise Mertens and Veronika Kudermetova in the semifinal.
