18-Year-Old American Star Coco Gauff, a Die-Hard Beyonce Fan, Revealed Parents’ Betrayal to Go to Her Concert in 2019 – ‘I Was So Mad’

And when a 15-year-old Gauff realized that her parents ditched her to babysit her brothers to watch Beyonce and Jay-Z perform, she was heartbroken.

Gauff detailed the anecdote of betrayal that led her to wish for a ticket to Beyonce’s concert.

In an interview in 2019, she detailed the anecdote. She said, “Actually my parents told me to babysit my brothers. They didn’t tell me where they were going.” To her surprise, the truth came uncovered when she went on Facebook.

She said, “Then I see on Facebook that they’re at the Beyonce and Jay-Z concert. I was so mad.” And a true Beyonce fan could not give up so easily, so she persisted. She said, “I told them I wanted to go. They’re like, “We’ll be back in a couple hours.” But what followed was even more betraying for the young fan. She said, “Then I see on Facebook they’re in Miami at Beyonce and Jay-Z.”
