Serena Williams’ husband Alexis Ohanian has excelled as an entrepreneur, much like Momma Smash has on the tennis court. Ohanian, along with his friends, started his entrepreneurial journey during his college days. Since then, the co-founder of Reddit has made some smart decisions, which have led to great success for him in his business endeavors.

However, it all started with Ohanian’s initial decision to forgo pursuing a professional career as a lawyer and launch his own entrepreneurial project, Reddit, instead. That one decision shot the American internet entrepreneur to unprecedented heights. This life-altering decision was taken at a rather unconventional spot, and recently, this was recognized by the establishment, which sent Ohanian over the moon.

Serena Williams’ husband’s heartfelt post about a place where he took his best decision

The American internet entrepreneur was at a Waffle House in Charlottesville, when he had the epiphany. Since then, Alexis Ohanian has treasured that place as a significant step in the development of his successful entrepreneurial journey. After being credited for his success, the Waffle House honored Ohanian by putting up a plaque with his name at their restaurant.

They added Ohanian’s statement to the plaque, describing the crucial decision that he made at the Waffle House. The plaque further stated, ‘Site of Alexis Ohanian’s Waffle House Epiphany, Co-founder of Reddit, UVA Class of 2005. ‘

Ohanian also took note of this and he further revealed that he was excited to see the plaque at the Waffle House. The Reddit co-founder in his social media post, stated, “I’m more excited than I should be that they’re putting this plaque in the @WaffleHouse on Rt29 in CVille — at the booth where I decided to quit becoming a lawyer and start a company (Reddit) instead. I went home after my breakfast + recruited my roommate later that day. Thankful.”

Ohanian also invested in a popular NWSL team

Apart from his online platform, Reddit, Ohanian, also decided to invest in a popular National Women’s Soccer League team. Ohanian, due to his love for women’s sports, decided to invest in the soccer team, Angel City FC.

Apart from the American internet entrepreneur, his tennis star wife, Serena Williams, and their five-year-old daughter Olympia are all co-investors of the team. Additionally, Olympia is also a huge soccer fan and has taken up soccer lessons in a bid to further her skills in the sport.
