Stephen Curry’s remarkable prowess on the basketball court has earned him a slew of admirers in the sporting realm. Even in the tennis community, Coco Gauff’s coach, Brad Gilbert, has rarely held himself back from lauding the two-time MVP  on various occasions. Most recently, the American tennis coach came forward on social media to heap praise on the Golden State Warriors star after his phenomenal performance against Phoenix.

The American basketball player recently pulled off a game-winning three-pointer to give the Warriors a stellar victory against the Phoenix Suns. After witnessing his heroic moments in the thrilling match, the renowned tennis coach Gilbert recently dropped his reaction to Curry’s ‘magical’ three-pointer dagger.

The Golden State Warriors and Phoenix Suns played a thrilling game at the Chase Center, where Stephen Curry scored 42 points, hit 11 3-pointers, and also finished with ten rebounds, one steal, and one block to give his team a stellar 113-112 victory. With less than one second on the clock, the 35-year-old pulled off a heroic three-pointer dagger.

Some video clips of his mesmerizing performance have gone viral online and have also caught the attention of many in the sporting realm, including Brad Gilbert. While retweeting a video clip with the caption ‘STEPH CURRY DAGGER UNREAL,’ the American tennis coach said, “magical 🧙‍♂️ Chef 👨‍🍳 dagger 🗡️”

This is not the first time that Gilbert has taken to social media to lavish praise on the Golden State Warriors star. While taking about the Kansas City Chiefs’s dominant performance, the tennis coach previously drew parallels between Curry and the American football quarterback, Patrick Mahomes. Gilbert tweeted, “Chiefs is control early Mahomes reminds so much of @StephenCurry30″

Aside from this, Gilbert previously also compared the American basketball player to the 22-time singles Grand Slam champion, Rafael Nadal because of his “humbleness and amazing play.” He tweeted, Steph Curry @StephenCurry30reminds me a lot @RafaelNadal his humbleness and amazing 🤩 play and so unselfish 👊🏀💪👍👌✔️👊”
