Emma Raducanu, the British tennis professional, is currently taking a break from tennis. She had a rough year full of disappointing defeats, injuries, and unnecessary bashing. However, she hasn’t lost her will and is ready for a banger comeback. But before that, she gifted herself a ticket to one of her favorite sport’s mega-event.

Although Raducanu’s first love is tennis, she also enjoys other games such as motor racing and boxing. Therefore, with her tennis season packed and some time in hand, she decided to cheer for her nation’s boxing star.

Emma Raducanu takes a day off

Raducanu enjoyed the duel in the company of female basketball star Sabrina Ionescu and shared a picture of herself smiling from ear to ear with a stadium full of fans in the background.

In the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, the British favorite Tyson Fury took down his opponent Derek Chisora.  Following that, a bad cut developed beneath the latter’s eyes in the ninth round. Fury finished the job in the 10th round with the referee stopping the match and the ‘Gypsy King’ winning by TKO.

Noteworthy runs of Raducanu

Speaking of the 19-year-old’s game, this season, an array of injuries kept her from replicating her last year’s US Open form. The defending champion incurred an opening-round defeat. She got outclassed in straight sets with the second set accounting bagel on the scoreboard in the American Grand Slam.

The former World no.10 fell several places on the ranking table this season. However, she still executed some noteworthy runs this season. Raducanu, after suffering back-to-back initial round defeats in the hard court season, gave a kick start to the clay swing by fighting for a semifinals seat of the Stuttgart Open.

She made up to the quarterfinals and lost her seat in the final four to the eventual winner, Iga Swiatek. Thereafter, she shined in the American hard court swing’s Citi Open.

Raducanu bounced back from her second-round Wimbledon defeat by executing a run till the last eight of the tournament. Following that, she finally entered a tournament’s final four. The Brit competed in the semifinals of the Korea Open.
