“Golf is a family thing,” quipped Alexis Ohanian as he saw his daughter, Olympia take a swing last year at PopStroke. The daughter of tennis icon Serena Williams has shown a special inclination toward this elite sport and she continues to exceed her father’s expectations. So much so, that the Reddit co-founder even revealed that he had to take golf lessons to keep up with her.

Serena Williams‘ husband is often spotted engaging in extracurricular activities with their elder daughter Olympia. Be it drawing, fishing, playing video games, or even golf. Fans love watching these adorable moments featuring the father and the daughter. Recently they were yet again spotted on the lush green turf of the golf course as Ohanian disclosed his daughter is growing out of the gift from Tiger Woods.

Ohanian shared an adorable post with her daughter and the golf course on his Instagram account on Tuesday. In the picture, Olympia was seen in a high-neck sleeveless pink top and white miniskirt.

He captioned the post, “Every morning with her is precious. Especially Sundays. This Daddy Caddy needs to get her some new clubs soon cuz she’s growing out of the gift from Uncle Tiger.” Ohanian was not into golf until his daughter started taking an interest in the game. After trying out different sports, Olympia took a liking to golf and soon began taking lessons.

Ohanian and Olympia’s love for golf was first spotted in May 2022 when he took her for a mini-golf date. In April, this year, the Reddit co-founder spoke about Olympia’s golfing skills. “Jr is so much better than me and I’m taking matters into my own hands and getting lessons…” He thinks she’s a “Golf icon in the making,” Well at the rate she is going, it won’t be difficult to imagine her taking a different sports route compared to her mother.

Even last year in April, he posted a photo from the PopStroke course with the caption, “Y’all are not ready for her 😍 Golf is a family thing!!” on X. The PopStroke golf course is designed by Tiger Woods and it was the legendary golfer who gifted a set of golf clubs to Ohanian and Serena’s daughter. But this isn’t where their connection ends.

Olympia became the youngest co-owner in professional sports when Serena Williams and Alexis Ohanian bought her stake in the Angel City Football Club in July 2020. Three years later, Olympia added the Los Angeles Golf Club to her portfolio as Ohanian and the William sisters secured the first franchise in the TGL, a high-tech golf league founded by Tiger Woods and Rory Mcllroy.

The second half of Ohanian’s Instagram caption hinted at his excitement to take his daughter to the LAGC’s first game against Jupiter Links Golf Club. He wrote, “Can’t wait to take her to her first @tglgolf match this January. 💪@weareLAGC won’t hold anything back against even @jupiterlinksgc.”

Meanwhile Tiger Woods’s association with the Ohanian-Williams clan is nothing new. In 2022, he supported Williams from the stands during the US Open. There have been multiple such moments when Ohanian was spotted revealing his admiration for the 48-year-old golf icon.

A year later, Alexis Ohanian was spotted lauding Tiger Woods’ unwavering winning mentality. He expressed his admiration for Woods on social media by stating, “@tigerwoods Built different.” Even while attending a meeting at the TGR Foundation, he was heard revealing why he thinks Tiger Woods should be seen as a trailblazer for men prioritizing their personal lives.
