‘It’s Dying for Pirates’- Serena Williams’ Husband Alexis Ohanian’s Weird Analogy as He Gives a Shout Out to Tiger Woods’ Highly Anticipated Golf League

Another sports documentary titled, ‘Full Swing’ on the renowned streaming platform, Netflix, has caught the attention of many golf enthusiasts. Even Serena Williams’ husband Alexis Ohanian, who has often shown his interest in tennis and soccer, is now inclined toward a different sport.

Speaking of the golf documentary, the American internet entrepreneur also mentioned the new generation of golfers including Paige Spiranac. While comparing all of this, Ohanain also gave a huge shout-out to Tiger Woods’ highly anticipated golf league, TGL.

The Reddit cofounder has often used his platform to talk about various sports like tennis and soccer. Now, Alexis Ohanian has got inclined toward the sport of golf as he recently showed his interest in the latest Netflix documentary titled, ‘Full Swing’.

While sharing a teaser of the new documentary, he said, “Golf is a powder keg of next generation energy — social media GOLD — that’s waiting to explode.”

The American internet entrepreneur further expressed his viewpoint on the sport. Ohanian said, “It’s currently got the oldest average fan age (65+) but it doesn’t have to be this way. Watch.”

In the same Tweet thread, he then talked about the new generation of golfers including the popular American media personality, Paige Spiranac. Ohanian said that they have grown up idolizing the American golf legend, Tiger Woods, and have their own version of “power + swag”.

He stated, “You saw a glimpse of it with @LinksDAO — but there’s way more of this… you can see it in the followers of @PaigeSpiranac + this new generation of golfers, guys who grew up idolizing the goat (@TigerWoods) and bring their own version of power + swag, ready for social”.

While speaking of Woods, the American entrepreneur also gave a weird analogy for his anticipated high-tech golf league, TGL.

Ohanian said, “The THEME in my mind here is the PIRATES vs the NAVY. It’s such an establishment sport (NAVY) and it’s DYING for PIRATES. I’m betting @TGL has something to do with that.”

This is not the first time when the Reddit cofounder has shown his interest in the golf docuseries, Full Swing. Ohanian previously used his social media platform to share a trailer of the same.  He also said the ‘documentary is gonna be good.’
