The American tennis legend, Venus Williams, has shattered many records, not only in the tennis circuit but in the business sphere too. And therefore, it would not be surprising if the seven-time Grand Slam champion carried a bit of a contrasting personality at home. When ex-boyfriend revealed Venus Williams’ media persona

Back in 2008, the then 28-year-old Venus Williams was linked to golfer Hank Kuehne. And it was during an interview with CNN that the golfer spilled the beans about the American tennis legend. He asked about the difference in Williams’ personality that the world knows of and he knows.

Kuehne let the cat out of the bag. He said, “What you see is what you get with her, she doesn’t have a media persona, and then a different life at home, she’s the same person all the way through, and she’s just a very special person.”

From the interview, it was clear that the golfer was in awe of Williams’ personality, and according to him, she wasn’t different from what we know of the tennis legend. “Amazingly enough, she’s just the same at home as she is on the court and in interviews and everything else, she’s an amazing person. She’s one of those people that actually makes everyone around her better and wanna be better, so I really…” he added.

Venus won’t play golf despite her history with a golfer

Recently, in a guest appearance on the podcast, ‘Golf, Mostly’, the seven-time Grand Slam champion revealed that she has been on the road to recovery after multiple injuries in the past few years. Hence, when the talk of trying to play golf arose, the elder Williams sibling expressed her fear of suffering a severe injury.

Williams also emphasized on having dealt with enough injuries and how she wants to focus on staying fit for the rest of her professional career.
