Golfer turned influencer Paige Spiranac is trying her hand out on the tennis court. Coming from a different sports background, she is facing some physical challenges in adjusting to the tennis nuances. On Thursday, the 29-year-old took to her Instagram account and gave an update on her tennis.
She also gave an update on challenges that are coming her way.

Spiranac speaks about the stress on her body
Speaking about her adjustments to take up the new game, the 29-year-old revealed that her body is taking a toll. “I picked up tennis recently and let me tell you my ‘golf’ wardrobe is thriving on the court… but my body not so much,” she said. Further, she explained how hitting has affected her muscles. “I’ve been so sore after hitting! I’m working muscles I didn’t even know I had.”
In another post, the American revealed she is getting help from her parents who are good at tennis. “My parents used to be really good at tennis! They’ve been coming out with me. It’s fun to have them teach me and to make my dad run,” she said.
Notably, the Golfer turned influencer revealed earlier this month that she is taking up tennis.
Spiranac speaks about the dumbest rules in tennis
After retiring from golf, the American posted a video speaking about the dumbest rules that exist in different sports. She spoke about the rules of NFL, NHL, MLB, and tennis.

Talking about tennis, she targeted the rules for a coach. A coach is not allowed to instruct his pupil once he enters the court for a match. However, the 29-year-old believes that it will be nice to let the coach sit down by the player and instruct them on the side.

Interestingly, a rule change with relaxed a relaxed attitude about the same is a possibility in the near future. Men’s tennis governing body ATP has announced to try out the concept in the second half of the 2022 season. However, verbal coaching will be allowed only when the player is on the same side of the court as his coach.
