From making pancakes on Sundays to attending dance lessons, Alexis Ohanian tries to be the best dad to his daughters. And how does he know how good of a job he is doing? For that he has his elder daughter Olympia, provide him feedback. And the six-year-old has one complain!

The Reddit co-founder often takes to social media to share the various activities he has with her. Fans would have seen the father-daughter duo baking, collecting sports trading cards and even golfing on social media. In order to assess how he is doing as a father, Ohanian has set up a performance review, coming from none other than Olympia.

In the latest episode of his podcast, The Business Dad, Alexis Ohanian revealed how his father-daughter relationship with Olympia works like a manager and employee! Think of how a manager asks for an evaluation of ongoing performance in discussion with past performance and expectations for the future. That’s exactly what Senior does with Junior! And she has some serious pointers for her Papa’s areas of improvement.

“I literally ask Olympia for a performance review. She’s only six. But I love asking her what are things that Papa could have done over the last few months better. Sometimes she’s like, you know, you just squeeze me too hard. And you got to ease up on that. So please don’t squeeze me too hard,” said Ohanian, perfectly expressing the lovely bond he shares with his elder daughter.

Fans got a glimpse of Olympia’s review of her father’s efforts last year in June. During the family’s vacation in Sardinia, Italy, Ohanian shared his report card prepared by Olympia on Instagram. In a piece of hotel stationery, Ohanian listed several skills, including “pancake making,” “giving hugs,” and “protecting Olympia.” The then five-year-old offered checkmarks, minuses, and Xs to evaluate her father’s performance in each area.

Ohanian had noted Olympia’s complain about his hugs even then. “She said my hugs are sometimes so big they hurt,” he wrote in the caption, while also adding that his daughter is “pessimistic” about his ability to improve his dancing and singing skills, which she had marked as Xs.

During the podcast, Ohanian’s revealed how his daughter Olympia sometimes impresses him with her testimonials. “At the time, she’s just like, No, you’re great. You did everything great. Obviously, that feels great,” he said further representing the humble and kind side of Olympia’s nature.

True Alexis Ohanian fans know how dedicated and responsible he is as a father. In fact, apart from taking feedback from daughter, he tries to be as honest as he can toward her.

During an interaction on the ‘Business Dad’ podcast on June 18, the Angel City FC owner revealed, “I try to keep it 100 with Olympia, always. I don’t think I’ve ever, like capital L, lied to her. Like I’ve made an effort to be like Papa’s always gonna be honest with you.”

These revelations express his continuous attempts to impress his daughters. We have seen him making artistic pancakes for them on Sundays and indulging in other fun activities like playing video games with Olympia.

Meanwhile, apart from evaluating his father’s performances, Olympia has often expressed her love for him with adorable gestures.

Olympia is also known to express her love for her father. In May, Ohanian shared an Instagram story, where he showed off an adorable pink-colored heart shaped note from Olympia carrying a message, “Love You Papa.”

Also, earlier this year in March, when Reddit registered one of the biggest ever IPOs (Initial Public Offerings) by a social media platform, Ohanian took to X to reveal that Olympia baked him a special IPO cake.

Alexis Ohanian also shared some interesting banter with Olympia earlier this month. From his Instagram story, it was spotted that Olympia was trying to draw a mustache on Ohanian’s face, and later she tried to draw it on her daddy’s phone screen, which Ohanian ultimately stopped her from doing.

With all the efforts that Ohanian is putting in to be the best father he can, there is little surprise that Olympia feels attached to him. Now, we have to wait for Adira Ohanian to grow up and Alexis’ performance review might become more interesting.
