Serena Williams is no stranger to awards and trophies. She is one of the most decorated players in the world of tennis. And now is also thriving in the world of fashion and investments. Recently, she won the Michelob Ultra award, interestingly her first award received since the birth of her daughter, Olympia.
Serena got emotional and instantly shared her joy with her fans on Twitter. She mentioned that other accomplishments were special but this one is extra special as her daughter saw her champion mother receiving the trophy.

Serena Williams adds one more trophy to her cabinet
Former world no 1 is yet to swing a racquet in 2022, but she has many reasons to be excited about including the success of the movie ‘King Richard’. Not only she is at the top of the list among active players with 23 singles Grand Slam trophies, she also has won two mixed doubles titles at Majors in her early playing days.
Along with elder sister Venus Williams, Serena has dominated women’s doubles, winning 14 Grand Slam trophies playing together. She also has won four Olympic gold medals and the Sportsperson of the year award for her impressive on-court performances.
Now she will put the “most prestigious” trophy of her life in the cabinet. Sharing her excitement on social media, Serena expressed “The real achievement isn’t the hardware though; it’s the happiness behind it”. Olympia watching her mother winning a trophy is certainly a great moment for the 40-years old athlete.
Serena Williams appeared in their super bowl commercial as well. She informed the Peoples magazine, “This year, Michelob Ultra made a commitment to supporting gender equality in sports. And it was so great to see that come into fruition when they decided to put that commitment to action by having just as many female athletes in this Super Bowl ad as they had male athletes.”

Daughter Olympia was born on 1st September 2017, the same year when Serena won her 23rd Major title. Serena reached the finals of Wimbledon on two different occasions after that but was defeated by Angelique Kerber in 2018 and Simona Halep in 2019.
Similarly, she suffered defeats in the finals at the US Open in 2018 and 2019, losing to Naomi Osaka and Bianca Andreescu respectively.
