However, fans can tell Quincy holds a special position in Collins’s heart. She once commented- “Yeah, I have one dog, and my parents have three dogs. They are so fun to be around. When I travel, we have to be away from each other for so long. My dog is Quincy and is a mix.”
Collins has always been open about Quincy. She previously mentioned how Quincy shows the signs of a true gentleman. This American WTA pro commented- “Quincy is the classic Velcro dog: if she sees me a meter away, she can’t stand it and comes back close to me. He is adorable. He is a sophisticated gentleman, I call him Mr. Q. He is a little spoiled, but with a great personality.”
Nevertheless, Danielle Collins’s message for her dog Quincy post-match at the Charleston Open presented the stress of the tennis players to stay away from their pets.
