The former Czech-American player uses her Twitter handle to put forward her strong views and opinions on the matters concerned. The latest matter to catch her attention is the suspension of MLB star, Fernando Tatis Jr.

Tatis recently suffered a major black mark on his flourishing career after being suspended for 80 games. The 23-year-old was reportedly suspended after testing positive for a drug test. Expressing her distaste about the incident, Navratilova took to her Twitter handle, criticizing the Dominican player.

Over the years, Navratilova has often called out players having their names attached to the usage of banned substances. This time was no different. Learning about Tatis Jr.’s suspension, she took to her Twitter handle, tweeting, “What a fool…”

As per reports, Tatis has reportedly been suspended after testing positive for performance enhancement substance, Clostebol. Out of the sport due to a broken left wrist, the San Diego Padres Star had recently begun his rehab journey. However, with the suspension in place, he is now set to miss the majors this season.
Learning about the suspension, Diego Padres said, “We were surprised and extremely disappointed to learn today that Fernando Tatis Jr. tested positive for a performance-enhancing substance in violation of Major League Baseball’s Joint Prevention and Treatment Program.”
Having a legacy of more than 50 years, the club further extended its firm stand against the shortstop and outfielder. Going ahead in the statement, Padres further said, “We fully support the program and are hopeful that Fernando will learn from this experience.”

Navratilova once called out Agassi for his drug usage
As mentioned earlier, Navratilova has often called out players for using banned substances. Going back in time to 2009, Navratilova slammed Andre Agassi for one of his confessions involving substance abuse. In his autobiography ‘Open’, Agassi admitted of consuming crystal meth in 1997 and getting away without any charges.

Slamming Agassi for his confession, Navratilova asserted that lying about consumption was a bigger crime in her eyes than actually consuming it. Going ahead, she further pointed out that Agassi beat some players when he should have been suspended.
