Simply Fearless! The teenage sensation, Mirra Andreeva has now become the youngest woman to beat multiple Grand Slam Champions in a WTA 1000 event. Andreeva (17) has made her way into the first WTA 1000 SF of her career. She’ll next face another Top 10 tennis player Elena Rybakina in the semis of the 2025 Dubai Tennis Championships. Rybakina had a little scare in the second set of her QF match, but eventually, she was “really happy” to manage the win in just two sets.

Rybakina reached the final of this tournament in 2020 as well and guess what? But since then, it’s her first semifinal appearance in Dubai. Only Venus Williams and Petra Kvitova have a longer gap between their first two SF appearances at this venue. Will the Kazakh star get past Andreeva?
