Rafael Nadal has not experienced much success tennis-wise this season. After an early exit in the Australian Open, the Spaniard was not able to return to court. However, that doesn’t mean he has been idle. Along with the recovery process, he is working on his off-court ventures. He invested in a non-traditional boat racing league which has now even attracted NFL legend, Tom Brady.

Nadal first invested in the all-electric boat race championship in January. His investment entailed owning a team that would compete in water bodies around the world. Rafa has now been joined by several iconic figures around the world who have dipped their hands in the league.

Tom Brady retired from the NFL in February this year. Same as tennis stars like Serena Williams and Venus Williams, Brady is enjoying his time with other ventures. Just this year, he has invested in Las Vegas Aces, GOLF+, and even Pickleball. Now, the retired NFL star has added another venture to his portfolio. He announced that he will be investing in E1, an all-electric boat race that will take place around the world.

He will be joining the league as an owner and even warned his competitors to be ready to come in second place. His announcement found a grand stage even in tennis as Rafael Nadal, another owner in E1, shared the news on his Instagram story with the caption, “Welcome @tombrady“. In the story, he shared the video from E1’s official Instagram page, which featured both stars.
