In a video going around the internet, the suspect in the shooting tries to run away, but one brave fan grabs him and drags him onto the ground. While he tries to free himself, other fans join him to stop the suspect from doing anything. After the incident, a lot of well-known tennis faces have come forward to talk about the incident and appreciate the fans’ bravery. One of the first to react to the incident was Serena Williams’ entrepreneur husband, Alexis Ohanian, who shared a video of the same and added his proud reaction, “#LookForTheHelpers Heroes.”

On the other hand, even the 41-year-old Andy Roddick shared his take on the incident. Along with that, he also highlighted how nobody’s allowed to carry guns at the games.
He stated, “Guns aren’t allowed at the NRA national convention. You might think there’s something quippy coming. Nope. They just aren’t allowed there. Everywhere else? Totally fine.”

On the other hand, even Brad Gilbert, the former coach, detailed how there should be no weapons allowed to stop such a fearful situation.
