However, the heat is tough at this time of the year. Tennis legend Jimmy Connors has supported her take because he has been there. Recently, he narrated his side of the story in his podcast, Advantage Connors. He stated, “I’m talking about when I was in the heat I had to play in it.” Mentioning how he would practice in the scorching heat for both clay court and hard court season, Connors reminisced about the grueling times. He stated, “We look back like, “Oh my God!” I mean, you know, it was fun at the time. But were we n**s?”
He then talked about how they did not care much about the consequences. Connors stated, “Yeah, I guess we didn’t really know, the bad things that could happen. We were young and almost bulletproof.”
