That time of the year has finally arrived when tennis will spring on the most sacred grass courts in the world. From the coming Monday, the Wimbledon Championships 2021 will begin. Also, it marks the return of the oldest tennis tournament after it was canceled last year for the first time since 1945.

Despite the cancellation, the Championships provided every player a share of the prize money, which they received from insurance cover. From the allotted ?10m, all 128 singles main draw participants in men’s and women’s for the 2020 Wimbledon received ?25,000. The other 224 contestants in singles qualifying rounds got ?12,500 each as prize money.

Reasonably, the prize money for 2021 saw a downfall compared to 2019 due to the ongoing pandemic. So how much prize money is up for grabs at the 134th edition of the Championships?
