Victoria Azarenka has joined and responded to a large-scale auction for a noble purpose. Started by French coach Gilles Cervara, many players from both the WTA and the ATP are auctioning off their rackets.

The money collected from the same would go to help Croatian tennis coach Kristijan Schneider. The Croatian is suffering from intestinal cancer, and the whole tennis community has come together to help him through this ordeal.

Through a post on her Instagram page, Victoria Azarenka has responded to Cervara’s request to big tennis stars for their help. Furthermore, she also tagged other members of the sport like Simona Halep and Andrey Rublev on the post.

Cervara, who is the coach to World No. 2 Daniil Medvedev, posted on Instagram to request many tennis stars to participate in the racket auctions. He posted an image with each player to personally ask them for their help. In the end, he tagged Victoria Azarenka on the image of a racket.

Not only racket auctions, but Cervara also began a fundraiser for Schneider earlier this year too. Titled “Kiki, Coz I Care”, the fundraiser has garnered international attention.
