The world is in deep shock after learning about the passing away of Louis Vuitton’s creative director and CEO of Off-White, Virgil Abloh. He was both an inspiring fashion designer and a kind person. Virgil, who left behind a perpetual legacy, died at 41 after battling rare cancer.

Notably, Louis Vuitton announced in a statement that Abloh had been battling cancer privately for several years. Therefore, the news came as a sudden shock for the ones who knew him and his work.

Accordingly, the seven-time Grand Slam champion Venus Williams expressed her disbelief on Twitter. She wrote, “Omg, I can’t believe Virgil Abloh is gone. Noooo.”

Additionally, both Naomi Osaka and Coco Gauff uploaded Abloh’s picture on their Instagram story. The young American star also added a praying hands emoji.

Besides, the retired tennis great Maria Sharapova also revealed her sorrow. “So so sad. Truly one of a kind,” she wrote on her Instagram story.

Furthermore, the newlyweds Elina Svitolina and Gael Monfils also reflected on their connection with the Off-White boss outside of tennis.

Afterward, even Serena Williams’ husband Alexis Ohanian sent Abloh a message. He shared a screenshot of one of their WhatsApp conversations and wrote, “Thank you for everything.”

Without any doubt, Abloh had an impact on every individual he met during his time. And now, many will lead his vision into the future.
