Recently, a question that was asked in one of the TV shows in the US got Twitter into a frenzy. What shocked the people was not the question per se, but the options given in the show for a chance to answer the question. The question, even though simple, was about the American tennis legend Serena Williams.
The 23-time Grand Slam champion was pregnant when she claimed her 23rd Grand Slam at the Australian Open. The question that confused the tennis realm was related to the same.

When a Serena Williams question left tennis fans baffled
On the show, Who wants to be a Millionaire, one of the questions asked to a participant was, “Which of these tennis greats once won the Australian Open while roughly eight weeks pregnant?” However, what left the audience baffled were the options, which had tennis greats- Andy Murray, Serena Williams, Roger Federer, and John McEnroe.
The question even caught the attention of the former tennis player and the 2013 Wimbledon champion Marion Bartoli. The star player couldn’t stop laughing as she took to Twitter after taking a look at the question.

However, a Twitter user highlighted a sheer lack of effort from the people who asked the question. And wrote, “The lack of effort from whoever wrote this question”

While other users were sarcastic, while responding to the Tweet. And said, “that’s a tough question.”

And there were some who hoped that the person answering got it right.

Moreover, there were also some tennis fans, who took it on a lighter note and answered the question with the wrong choices.

And one of the fans, hilariously tried to narrow down the choices by eliminating 2 players. And said, “Murray and McEnroe have never won the AO so that narrows it down to two”

Certainly, the hilarious question caught the tennis fans by surprise. Well, sometimes shows do have easy questions. But the person encountering the aforementioned question must’ve had a good laugh, as we all did.
